A new breed of cruise ship with more space for passengers and cargo is set to arrive in Europe and the US this year.
Mossbergs 500 Cruiser is due to leave Europe in April 2020, after a successful three-year tour.
The new ship, to be called the MV Voss, is to be renamed the MV Mossberg and will be the first vessel to be built in the US.
The ship will travel from Denmark to Italy, a journey of nearly 2,000 miles (3,900km).
It is expected to have capacity for over 1,000 passengers and a capacity of up to 800.
The ship is expected arrive in China in 2022.
“Mossbergs will be a great addition to the cruise industry,” said Matt Mossberg, CEO of Mossberg Cruises.
“The MV Vross has a unique combination of size, capacity, comfort and speed.”
The MV Viss will have a range of 150 to 250 passengers and an empty cargo of 3,200 to 6,000 kilograms (8,300 to 12,700 pounds).
It will be capable of a maximum speed of 23 knots (32 km/h), making it the fastest cruise ship in the world.
Mossiers 500 Cruiser will be made up of five ships.
The first two are to be made of aluminium, which is used in the hulls of all major cruise ships.
They will be named the Voss and the Vross, respectively, and will each carry around 1,500 people and 4,000 tons of cargo.
The Voss will be built at the Danish shipyard in Bremen and will have the same layout as the Mossberg Voss.
The second ship, the MV Porsgrunn, will be constructed at the same facility in Germany.
It will have an aluminium hull, will carry around 800 people and 2,300 tons of freight.
A third ship, MV Mossburg, will make up the rest of the fleet.
It is a smaller version of the Viss and will carry a capacity for 1,300 passengers and 6,500 tons of goods.
In the US, Mossberg is set for a major expansion, with the construction of a new ship to be named MV Mosserberg.
It’s expected to be launched in 2021.
It has the capacity for 2,500 passengers and will also be able to carry up to 1,200 people and 3,000 tonnes of goods, according to the MV Fisker company.
