Tom Cruise has been on a tear, sailing the rivers of the world in his new Alana Cruise ships.
We caught up with Cruise to find out what it’s like to cruise the world’s rivers with him, and what he plans to do next.

Tom Cruise was born in Chicago in 1952 and spent his childhood in the Chicago suburbs.
He graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a degree in journalism in 1986.
He was a columnist for the Chicago Tribune and worked for The New York Times.
He then spent four years as a freelance reporter for the Associated Press and worked as a producer for The Associated Press-Wisconsin Journal Sentinel.
He later wrote for The Washington Post, The Boston Globe, The Los Angeles Times and The Boston Herald.
He also worked as an associate producer for the PBS series “NewsHour” in Washington, D.C.
He joined Cruise Line in 2014, where he served as its senior vice president of marketing, sales and development.
In that role, he oversaw sales, marketing, brand development and global communications.

Tom Cruise, who is an avid outdoorsman, enjoys swimming, kayaking and sailing.
He enjoys meeting his fellow travelers and being part of a large family.
Cruise says he likes to have the time of his life, whether it’s just a weekend in the Caribbean or a day in the mountains.
“It’s really fun to be able to travel to these places and meet people, and have that unique experience, even if it’s only a few days,” he said.
Tom’s most recent film, “Ocean’s Eleven,” will be released in 2019.
